I am currently participating in a 1,000 words a day writing challenge.
Even though I have been a writer my entire life (and once in my youth fancied myself quite the gifted poet); I have never had much rhyme or rhythm to the practice of writing.

What secrets fly out of the earth
when I push the shovel-edge,
when I heave the dirt open?

Something I have sought for in my years of Yoga practice and study, was this deep unity/connection so many teachers spoke about.

I never really felt it within the confines of a studio’s four walls.
